PEAS Group

The Parent Education and Support (PEAS) group is a monthly meeting designed to help family members understand basic concepts of treatment and provide psychological and emotional support. The group is one hour in duration and is held immediately following visitation hours on the third Sunday of each month. PEAS group is considered an essential component of the Family Therapy program and the frequency of parent attendance is reviewed when boys request off-grounds and home visits. Hoffmann Center recognizes that parents may have Sunday work obligations or travel issues. If parents cannot attend a monthly group, they should work with the Family Therapist to ensure that topic is made up in a family session.
