Jennifer Hooyman, MSW, LGSW, Therapist, Evergreen Cottage, Falcons Unit
Jennifer received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana in 2003. In 2007, she completed her Masters of Social Work from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Jennifer has spent the last decade living in Brooklyn, New York working for Good Shepherd Services as a Social Worker and then Program Director at alternative high school settings for adolescents and young adults.
Jennifer began working as the Unit Therapist on the Falcons Unit in January 2017. She has 9,990 lakes left on her Minnesota checklist.
Ben Copeland, Unit Supervisor, Evergreen Cottage, Falcons Unit
Ben graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. He started working for the Hoffmann Center in 2012 as a Youth Counselor. In 2017, Ben moved into his most recent role as a Unit Supervisor.
The Unit Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the coordination of residential services. In addition, they are responsible for providing a range of residential counseling and skills training services to clients and their families, working with clients to help them meet the goals of the individual treatment plan, and reporitng on resident's treatment progress and providing peer leadership.
