Once a referral is received, our business office will verify the insurance information. Following this we will contact the individual or professional making the referral.
At Hoffmann Counseling Services we make it our goal to provide support and resources throughout the therapeutic journey to set up the individuals we serve for success. After the referral and insurance information is obtained, an intake appointment will be set up. Just as doctor diagnoses physical illnesses, our clinicians complete a diagnostic assessment to diagnose mental health concerns. This assessment is essential for working with the individual and family to create a treatment plan. After the diagnostic assessment is completed, a service provider will meet with the family to develop the treatment plan to begin services.
We accept most private health insurances and Minnesota Health Care Plans (MHCP). Commercial insurance will cover Diagnostic Assessments, Individual, Group, and Family therapy. However commercial insurance will not cover services provided by Mental Health Practitioners for skills training. Only Medical Assistance, PMAP’s (e.g. South Country Health Alliance, Blue Plus etc.) and MNCare cover these services. Please Contact Us to check coverage. Contact Us Page.
